1. Booking Confirmation.
All bookings are subject to availability. A booking is considered confirmed once we have received full payment for the tour, and issued a booking confirmation via email.
2. Payment
A 20% reservation is required at the time of booking to reserve your tour date.
If your tour is scheduled to start within 14 days of booking, the full remaining balance is due to confirm the tour.
The remaining balance is otherwise due within 3 weeks of the tour date (or as specified in your confirmation).
If the balance is not received by 14 days before the tour start date, we will assume the booking is cancelled, and no refund of the reservation will be issued.
3. Cancellations.
All cancellations or requests for changes must be submitted in writing. The following policy applies based on the timing of your notice relative to the tour start date:
More than 14 days (2 weeks) before the tour start date: Eligible for a 50% refund of the total tour price.
Within 14 days (but more than 7 days) before the tour start date: No refunds are available. However, you may cancel and request to reschedule for another available date (subject to availability and any price differences). If rescheduling is not possible due to lack of availability, a 50% refund of the total tour cost will be issued.
Within 7 days of the tour start date: No refunds or rescheduling are available.
4. Cancellation by Humble Earth
We reserve the right to cancel a tour due to extreme weather, unsafe conditions, or insufficient bookings. In such an event, you will be offered the choice of:
A full refund of all monies paid (including reservation fee), or rescheduling to an alternative tour date.
We are not liable for any additional expenses you may have incurred (such as travel or accommodation) as a result of the cancellation.
This includes cancellations due to force majeure events (e.g., severe weather, natural disasters, government restrictions, illness, or other unforeseen circumstances beyond our control).
5. Tour Participation & Conduct
Minimum Numbers: Some tours require a minimum number of guests to operate. We will advise you at the time of booking if this applies.
Dietary Requirements: We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies disclosed at the time of booking. However, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.
Conduct: We reserve the right to refuse service or remove any Guest from a tour for disruptive, intoxicated, or unsafe behavior. In such a case, no refund will be provided.
6. Liability & Insurance
Participants agree that Humble Earth Tours, its owners, employees, and guides are not liable for any loss, damage, injury, or expense incurred during the tour.
Guests are responsible for their own well-being and safety and are required to follow all instructions from their guide.
Guests participate in tastings and consumption of food and alcohol at their own risk. We encourage responsible consumption.
We strongly recommend that all guests hold comprehensive travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances that may lead to cancellation, such as personal illness, flight delays, or other travel disruptions. It is the guest’s responsibility to ensure their insurance policy covers the activities of a food and wine tour.
7. Force Majeure
Humble Earth Tours is not liable for failure to perform its obligations if such failure is a result of Acts of God (including fire, flood, earthquake, storm, hurricane), government actions, war, invasion, acts of terrorism, or any other event outside our reasonable control.
8. Additional
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the EU. Any disputes shall be settled under the jurisdiction of the courts located in Spain.
All refunds will be processed to the original payment method within [insert timeframe, e.g., 14 business days] of approval.
We reserve the right to cancel tours due to insufficient participation, severe weather, or other unavoidable circumstances. In such cases, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule (at no extra cost).
