1. Booking Confirmation
All bookings are subject to availability. A booking is considered confirmed once we have received a non-refundable 20% deposit per tour per person and issued a booking confirmation via email.

2. Payment Terms

Deposit: A 20% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation. This deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances.

Balance: The full balance of the tour price is due as specified on your invoice. Typically, the balance is due no later than 7 days prior to the scheduled tour date.

Failure to Pay Balance: If the outstanding balance is not paid by the due date, Humble Earth Tours reserves the right to treat the booking as canceled by the Guest, and the deposit will be forfeited.

3. Cancellation by the Guest
We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair while accounting for costs we incur in advance of your tour. All cancellation notices must be received in writing via our online contact form, or via email.

Our policy is as follows:

More than 7 days before the tour: The 20% deposit is non-refundable. Any balance paid beyond the deposit will be refunded in full.

Within 7 days but more than 48 hours before the tour start time: Cancellations in this period are eligible for a 50% refund of the total tour balance cost (or a credit for the same amount for future bookings if requested, and at our discretion). The remaining 50% is forfeited as a cancellation fee.

Within 48 hours of the tour start time: All payments are 100% non-refundable. No credits or rescheduling will be offered for cancellations within this period.

4. Rescheduling & Postponement (Subject to Availability)

We understand that sometimes a change of date is needed. Requests to reschedule a tour received more than 7 days in advance will be accommodated free of charge, subject to availability.

For requests made within 7 days but more than 48 hours of the tour, we will make every effort to reschedule your booking to a future date. A rescheduling fee may apply to cover administrative and venue costs. If no suitable date is available, our standard cancellation policy (Section 3) will apply.

Rescheduling within 48 hours of the tour is not permitted and will be treated as a cancellation (non-refundable).

5. Cancellation by Humble Earth Tours
We reserve the right to cancel a tour due to extreme weather, unsafe conditions, or insufficient bookings. In such an event, you will be offered the choice of:

A full refund of all monies paid (including your deposit), or

Rescheduling to an alternative tour date.

We are not liable for any additional expenses you may have incurred (such as travel or accommodation) as a result of the cancellation.

6. Tour Participation & Conduct

Minimum Numbers: Some tours require a minimum number of guests to operate. We will advise you at the time of booking if this applies.

Dietary Requirements: We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies disclosed at the time of booking. However, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.

Conduct: We reserve the right to refuse service or remove any Guest from a tour for disruptive, intoxicated, or unsafe behavior. In such a case, no refund will be provided.

7. Liability & Insurance

Participants agree that Humble Earth Tours, its owners, employees, and guides are not liable for any loss, damage, injury, or expense incurred during the tour.

Guests are responsible for their own well-being and safety and are required to follow all instructions from their guide.

Guests participate in tastings and consumption of food and alcohol at their own risk. We encourage responsible consumption.

We strongly recommend that all guests hold comprehensive travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances that may lead to cancellation, such as personal illness, flight delays, or other travel disruptions. It is the guest’s responsibility to ensure their insurance policy covers the activities of a food and wine tour.

8. Force Majeure
Humble Earth Tours is not liable for failure to perform its obligations if such failure is a result of Acts of God (including fire, flood, earthquake, storm, hurricane), government actions, war, invasion, acts of terrorism, or any other event outside our reasonable control.

9. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the EU. Any disputes shall be settled under the jurisdiction of the courts located in Spain.
